Missing sign in / out link

Ebay are so " clever " they've removed the sign in / out link from the My Ebay page and auction pages. What a stroke of genuis ! No doubt many people are aware of this but I haven't seen another thread about it yet. What's the next surprise ?

The kind of drop-down menu now in use is common on many websites, so it only took me about 4 seconds to find it.

BUT

I remember thinking how this change was going confuse the H*ll out so many others.

I can't say it confused me, but it beats me why anyone would think extra bits to access and click to log out would be an improvement.  Hello - it doesn't make me want to stay logged on longer eBay's-own-stuff-up-the-website-section!  (OK they probably aren't called that but perhaps they should be).

It's the error messsages so I can't log out (just like Freaky Friday but on random days) that REALLY annoys me though.  If they can't get it to work properly, why change it?
