Missing sign in / out link

Ebay are so " clever " they've removed the sign in / out link from the My Ebay page and auction pages. What a stroke of genuis ! No doubt many people are aware of this but I haven't seen another thread about it yet. What's the next surprise ?

Its weird; in this moment on the top of this page is the old arrangement.  But yesterday, all of the sudden, when I wanted to switch from one ID to another (something I do number of time a day) the sign out thingy was not there.  I found it, but do not like it at all.  Wonder how come the old one is back again?

:_| Thought something was up , not sure if I'm imagining it but ebay online is starting to look like the ebay app for phones.

Then I was on IE and thought gee FireFox has changed :^O so I'm giving up on the pc today as I think the brain's in overload.

I must admit that it does not worry me....I never sign out of ebay anyway.  There are only the two of us here and OH never looks at ebay unless he is asking me to help him find something.

I never sign out but have to sign in everyday when I go to my ebay.

Is there a way to stay signed in everyday?

Bump, every 24 hours I get "reminded" to sign in....the sign in page just flicks up.  In order to avoid it happening in the middle of placing a bid I tend to sign in when I am about to start bidding.

The boards are different again....they do log me out when I shut the computer down.

I'm glad to see the old sign in/sign out has returned.

There have been instances when all I've got from the drop down sign out was an error message....so I couldn't sign out!  Very annoying and clearly an improvement that hasn't worked.

Is this the start of commonsense at eBay? 😄

Strangely, yesterday I had that dropdown menu and Hi, [real name], embedded in the Postage & Payments tab of listings. o_O

yes, the drop down, slow as anything, menu is on some pages, while here is still the old link  :_|
