Order cancellation

I want to know why my order no 17-08526-12681 has been cancelled as I have not requested this. It is the second time this has happened to me when buying from EBay. I think I will find other places to shop. Not happy again. Patsy Jenkins

We are a member-to-member forum here and cannot see what your order is.

Was it an auction? Was the winning bid possibly too good (for you)? Some sellers cancel orders if winning bids are too low for them. 

Before we give you any further advice, we need to know more...

Ebay allows for sellers to cancel transactions for any reason, such as:

1) Buyers have a PO Box for their address which some sellers do not send to

2) The seller was not happy at the final price if it was an auction

3) The buyer asks the seller multiple questions which are already in the listing, leading the seller to think the buyer has not read the description and the transaction will turn sour once the buyer receives it

4) The buyer leaves negative or neutral feedback for many sellers, so seller won't take the risk

5) The item sells elsewhere

6) The seller is inexperienced

As a seller, I have cancelled order previously, but only if the buyers feedback is generally negative or they are rude/demanding when contacting me. This maybe happens once or twice a year.
