Return

I've just got a faulty item delivered.

I've been asking for the seller to fix this issue but we have a communication breakdown as he's been giving me irrelevant answers to my questions (may be pretending as a tactic to avoid this).

I don't know what to do...

Re: Return

Use the MBG (see link below) only communicate with the seller through the dispute and do not close the dispute until you have your refund.

Re: Return

If you don't know what to do, you need to read up on buying basics

If the item is not as described, you open an item not as described dispute and follow through with it

The seller does not get a say

Unless you have left it too long by playing games with the seller

Re: Return

do as everyone else has suggested.  use the MBG

But you have already left them positive feedback,  I am confused.

Plus a suggestion for future purchases,  check a sellers Feedback before you buy,  no way would I buy from this seller,  But each to their own.

Re: Return

Too add to that,

Did you choose to leave the positive feedback (even though you say the item arrived faulty)

OR did the seller tell you to leave a positive and then they would help you?

I too would not be buying from a seller in China with such poor feedback

Re: Return

Bypass seller completely

Open a case with ebay for a refund.

Do no close it no matter what the seller says.

Do not let it time out, the seller should refund within the time ebay states but if he doesn't, ask ebay to step in.

The refund is not dependent on you doing anything the seller asks.

In future, do not give feedback till you have tested an item and are sure you are happy with it. And are happy with the seller's service. You're not happy with either so your feedback is misleading for other buyers.

You do not pay out of your own pocket for return postage either.
