Ebay needs to have strict measures for Australian consumers choosing to purchase from Austraia only. I do not want to select to purchase an item in Australia and then see Sellers' who 'appear' to be selling from Australia, when in fact they are based in China.
Very inappropriate, especially in the current climate (CoVid crisis).
Ebay - you need to change this asap.

Contact eBay and tell them
Or read one of the other dozens of threads on this same subject (and the advice given buy fellow members)
Or take ten seconds to look at the seller's feedback to see where they are registered and if they lie about items being posted from Australia
No need to 'buy and then find out later' the information is right there, before any purchase if the buyer chooses to look

eBay don't read here.
When you select Australia only in the search refinements that is for sellers that will sell and post to Australia.
If you are in a capital city try using the klms from your postcode option.
And before buying check the feedback page to see where an account is registered as many Chinese sellers misrepresent item location.
