false price advertised

Frequently when I look at my watch list (which shows prices of goods in Australian Dollars at a buy now price), when I click on the item to either look more closely or to buy, if the item is on another country the price shown changes to that of the country of product domicile, and the Australian Dollar price conversion increases. This is false advertising by Ebay as I am expecting to pay, say AUD35.00 but when I attempt to buy the item it may show USD28.00 and then translate that to AUD37.00 These figures are not actual, but just an example of how I am being hoodwinked. Does anybody else have the same experience?

false price advertised

Different platforms use different financial institutions hence different conversion rates.

PayPal and eBay's conversions always differ.
