They are not from eBay

They are scammers

Did you give them any of your details, or did you press 1 on your phone  if they asked you to?

Nothing to do with Ebay, but a very common scam. They will ask you to provide all sorts of personal identifying information in order to get a "refund".

Never answer any numbers you don't recognise. If it's a genuine call, they can leave a message.

Just a heads up. Ebay doesn't give the personal touch of a concerned phone call to the buyer after a sale. 

Never, ever.

Nor does Amazon.

If you get a somewhat similar call about refunds or charges/discontinuation of services etc from Telstra, the bank or the tax office and so on, also think scam. Just hang up.
