Can someone please identify the type of sailboat this is ?

Its 36" long and 40" tall.

Looks like a gaff rigged sloop or an early 18 footer.

Ok! Forget the 18 footer. The spar(gaff) comming of the mast indicates gaff rigged sail(ie.square rigged,not triangular) but the bit added on the mast above the gaff I'm not sure about. Looks good tho! What"s the start price?  LOL.

Looks like a gaff rigged cutter with topsail, bowsprit and double headsails.

As to what she was used for, some of the deck items may give you clues.

I started sailing when I was 10 and dad sailed Dragon Olympic class yachts in Denmark.

(I've always liked to keep busy)  (I still googled to check though)
