BLOKES THREAD-aimed at blokes-shielas welcome.

Seems to be a lack of threads for blokes.
On other threads, some ladies have mentioned, their OHs
would post, but had no interest in most of the threads on offer.
I can bump this thead twice a day,so its easy to find.
Give it a go---Richo.

I haven't even had time to read the paper today so don't kow how many GS there are tomorrow.  Spent today at Lou's doing  housework and cuddling the boys.  Had a Doctor's appointment at 5pm, got in at 6.15.  But have got more stuff to put in the nebuliser to stop the asthma, Bruce said he has seen a  lot  more  folk than usual with hay fever and asthma, bad year.

Purple an MRI is te best way to get a clear picture of your spine, it shows damage so much clearer than any other xray or scan.  Needles in your tummy, I would run a mile.Woman Surprised

Sandy hope you get a quiet one.  The unit across from me is for sale, hope an investor buys it and  young Rebecca stays there, but  it is something  I cannot control.

Good luck with the GS Richo, I will know JV is feeling better when  she finds something good at one..

Re: BLOKES THREAD-aimed at blokes-sheilas welcome.

Morning everyone,

Hope you had some good finds Richo.

JV........I put 1/2 cup of plain white vinegar in the softener part of washing machine...(instead of softener) that makes the clothes soft and also cleans the washing machine......I do it with every wash.

I just use the generic brand vinegar....

Linda.......do you take your asthma meds, every day of the year, not just when you have asthma?

When I was really sick 2yrs ago with asthma, the dr. found that ventolin wasnt working for me, and changed it & now I am on Symicort it has a metered dose and have found it really helps.

Have a good day everyone///

Morning Richo, everyone.  Ooaks, Richo is a dead set legend, he has forgotten more about all sorts of books than I will ever know.  He has links everywhere, looking for books, and, he is an excellent source of knowledge for us if we need help.

JV what Purple said works, but if you need a big clean a cup of vinegar in a normal wash will work.  Yes, Purple, I do take a preventer, every day, because it's not just hay fever but all year round allergies that upset me.

Police now say those blokes are around here, and it was them at Lake Rowan yesterday, chopper was up at 3 this morning.

No GS for me Richo, too lazy.  I am going to Benalla until Monday, cause I can, haha

Have a great folks////

thanks linda on the Richo book info Woman Surprised

i have a lot to learn about you all i cant believe how long this thread has been going Woman Happy

hubby is back from the grocerie shopping for the second trip as usual something came up the wrong price it happens 9 out of 10 times and its always more not less Robot Frustrated

its not so bad when you get the item free but today it was fresh mushrooms that were on special but came up full price they only give you the difference back i think thats a rip off because you have to go back to the shop and its inconveniant for most people (not so much for us because we are so close but most people just leave it cus they dont have time )

im a bit crossabout it now cus im sure they do it on purpose it just could not happen that often by error

do you all check your dockets?? we would have been riped of $$$$$ if we dident mumble mumble ............

Re: BLOKES THREAD-aimed at blokes-sheilas welcome.

Mornin' all

JV I agree with purps.  I don't use softener any more.  I use white

vinegar too.  Plain brand is good enough. Every wash in the softener bin

A cupful should clean it out.  Might have to do it twice, if it's bad.

Softener tends to clog up your filters and give you

brown gunk on your washing after a while

(well that's what happened to me - in a new machine)

Ooak, which supermarket?  Most have a policy that if it's

scanned wrong, then it's free.  Not refund the difference!

No gs for me.  Would love to, but none around here

Found a Stuart crystal salad bowl a while ago in an op shop for $9

Should get about $80 for it (eventually)

I have to get sick of looking at it first.  Also have to track down

the pattern name.

Too much nattering - Wash day today, I think.  Bed linen too.

Might see if I can get some gardening done too.  Big plans.

Might not get anything done...............hahahahahaha

14 deg ATM heading towards 22 today

                                      smiley nice day.gif

Re: BLOKES THREAD-aimed at blokes-sheilas welcome.

Ooaks---i always check the dockets...woolies are the worst offender.

PH-might give the washing machine a tune up with the vinegar trick-

-have used too much washing liquid a few times recently.

14 degs and overcast here-havent seen the sun for days.

Linda--im still learning about books -every day.

The Bairnsdale sighting was a miscue--local bloke rang the ABC--said it was him and the vehicle

is the same-even has a light on the roof.

Keep a look out and the walking stick ready to kneecap them.lol........................Richo////.
