Ecar, I'm soooo excited. I've watched them for a couple of years now.
I just saw both of them checking out the new nesting box.
Thanks for posting.

There's been trouble with the feed from Collins Street, but they have a YouTube channel to watch
Live feed. Don't forget to give the thumbs up

What the??
Now that's gone as well.
Maybe they're only doing daytime views?
Keep checking both, I guess

Tuesday, 25th August 2020, 12.30 pm. There's an egg there...
A sort of pinkish- red one.
There was a parent bird, who briefly dropped by a little after midday.
They stopped, called out a couple of times, looked around, and then left...
At last glance it's 13 degrees in Melbourne, so it's not too cold, ha ha...

Ecar, the camera went out overnight and we missed it.
It seems it was laid between 2am and 8am?
I tried at around 2.30am and the camera was out.
I think Kersley(?) the camera guy is new and has forgotten that he has to re-set the camera for YouTube every 12 hours.
I did ask him yesterday and he confirmed that it has to be re-set.
I haven't been watching the 367 live feed, just the YouTube live feed.

Maybe I should check both if one goes out? But I like the live chat on YouTube.
Looking forward to more eggs over the next few days. Both mum and dad have been checking it out and re-arranging the gravel (housekeeping, hahaha)

I had noticed that it dropped in and out, but the Youtube live stream seems pretty reliable.
Shortly before 7pm, 25 August 2020, night has fallen and one of the parents is standing guard near the box.
We'll see what tomorrow brings...
