I thought they'd axed the schoolkids bonus

Just looked online at my bank account and there's an extra 600 bucks in there....bonus 🙂

Parliament is yet to pass legislation to end the Schoolkids Bonus, so it will be paid to eligible families and students in July 2014.

Most eligible families and students will be paid the Schoolkids Bonus between 2 and 16 July 2014.

It has not gone through the senate yet.  Hope Palmer sticks to his promise not to support the abolition of it ; low income families depend on it
