You can wait up to 2 years for a Birkin. I wouldn't touch this, probably fake. Also I'm not sure if their asking price for a 2nd hand Birkin is correct.

I asked the seller, how come the postage was so much...

I had an answer, the seller went on to ask me to send my postal info, then she would see if she could do some discounts, then she proceeded to tell me she does do discounts if I pay by such and such.

She said when I send my address, she will work it all out and let me know:O

The added postage is to take care of the paypal fee for accepting that amount.  I'm not sure why because it won't sell anyway unless they get a much lower offer that they will accept.  The fact that they advised that it was to cover paypal fees was silly.  

My sense of humour must have slipped a bit but there is not much you can do about a sale like this except ignore it.
