It seems aspartame is made from CARP

This scientific jargon obfuscates (perhaps deliberately) a truly disturbing process:

1.) 'Cloned microorganisms' (which the patent later reveals to be genetically modified E. coli) are cultivated in tanks whose environments are tailored to help them thrive.

2.) The well-fed E. coli cultures defecate the proteins that contain the aspartic acid-phenylalanine amino acid segment needed to make aspartame.

Renowned for it. It it happened less than several years ago, it doesn't register on the radar.

Some ppl think if it didn't happen yesterday, it didn't happen.
Concerns about the long-term effects of aspartame are just as relevant, perhaps even more so, now, as when this topic was first raised.

Does it really matter? 4channel can repost old threads he finds interesting without needing other poster's approval.

In fact, they invariably create as lively discussion the second time round as the first time. And discussion is what these boards are all about, are they not?

Nobody is forced to participate.

Just recently, another poster stated that she'd found out from an "archived" thread, that I was not legally married to my partner, therefore had no morals.

Who goes to "archived" threads to dig up such information to troll with?
