The man with the camels yesterday was horrified we kill so many in Australia, he really loves his camels!

I learn something interesting every day.  I knew there were a few in desert areas of Australia brought here many years ago.   I do wish we had some wild ones in Tasmania ... Smiley Very Happy

More than a few Tas.  It is estimated that there are 1 to 1.2 million feral camels in Australia and their numbers are thought to be doubling every 8 to 9 years.  Experts think that Australia may now have the largest wild population of Arabian camels  in the world.
