Because he's an Aussie and he's one of ours. We paid welfare for him over 20 years and footed his legal costs over the murder of his wife for which he was out on bail for being an accesory, so why wouldn't we?

I seen footage of him walking out of court with none other then Christopher Murphy by his side, so from the looks of that he must have defended him at some stage.

We need to smarten up other countries in the same instances remove their citizenship and return them.
Also with this information availabe why was he on bail.?

re Bail, I was watching a video of the Police Commissioner, he said the Police opposed bail on both lots of charges
but he went to court and was granted bail. Then the pollie came on and started the usual law has been changed ... blah blah blah.
So the Police really did try to stop him from getting bail but as he said, we don't decidem the court does and
we can't do anything about it.

The polies can change the law and also if you lie to obtain something it is fraud and it becomes a criminal offence so he committed a criminal offence to obtain citizenship.
We have started to take back honours from those who commit criminal offences so why not take back citizenship from those who are
committing criminal offences?
Courts seem to have forgotten, like pollies, that they are there to reflect the wishes of the people of australia.

yep
Addressing the media in front of the Martin Place floral memorial alongside NSW Premier Mike Baird this afternoon, NSW Police Commissioner Andrew Scipione said police had applied to revoke Monisโ bail to keep him inside prison.
โWe were concerned that this man got bail from the beginning,โ he said.
โWe can but apply and seek to get offenders out of circulationโฆ but itโs a matter for the courts.โ
