Didn't feel like walking up to the shops so I crushed some cornflakes. To crumb the fish. For fish n chips.
The old-fashioned way, with a rolling pin between two layers of grease-proof paper lol
Hope hubs doesn't notice but I think he will.

A bit of flour and dip in egg wash. No need for crumbs at all! Bewdiful.
Wonder if the cornflakes would be too sweet?

I would prefer crumbed (bread) fish rather than battered fish... have to wait for the verdict on how the cornflake crumbs went down.

Mum used to use crushed Sao bikkies on flathead fillets following the flour and egg "dipping". I have heard of brekky cereal in the past. I would not use Coco Pops or Fruit Loops.
