There are over 130 fires burning in Southern Oregon from Sunday's lightning strikes.  Lots of evacuations.

Generally, rain comes with thunderstorms, along with lightning strikes.

34 - 36C forecast in the next few days and currently only 10% precipitation, 50% humidity. Wind gusts to 33MPH.

Not looking good.

having lived in a bushfire area for a long time i have seen that picture several times, once with the fire passing right past our house.

only being diverted by our own fire fighting sprinkler system.

amazing i was never worried as the fire approached as i had full trust the system we built and installed would not stop a fire but make it go around our home, which it did.

money very well spent.

Fingers crossed no one gets hurt or has their property destroyed.
