You don't need to watch it. Just go and visit it one day.

I have been to the area more than once in my life but I am not sure how I would see what goes on behind closed doors just by visiting.

Have you actually seen the series at all?

I started watching it last week.  I watched #2 last night.  Excellent acting and observation of people.   

And some great lines from grandmother (appears to hate men) to grand daughter

GM:  What you studying at Uni?

GD: Great Aboriginal Warriors

GM:  That won't take long.

As she gets out of the cab referring to the driver....

GM:  They can find their way to Xmas Island, but get lost coming to Redfern

I agreee, it's brilliant.     Great acting,    script and plot lines.
