The welfare mentality

Do you think that the world owes you a living?

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

Hello, everyone. This thread is getting heated and interpersonal. Could we please bring the discussion back to  a less heated and interpersonal state.

Thanks!

Gina Rinehart the 'corporate welfare' queen

How Australia's richest person, mining heiress Gina Rinehart, secured a $US694 million ($764 million) loan from American taxpayers is surely one of the great ironies of the capitalist system, reports The Australian Financial Review.

Re: The welfare mentality

not sure if i made myself clear in the post above so 2nd try:

we knew what he was like before if one cared to read or listen.

australians voted him in anyway.

now that leaves 2 options why they did that:

1. they have the mental abilities of toasted bread

2. they do not read, listen or care

in both of these cases it is pointless trying to changing their mind cos of see above.

Re: The welfare mentality

...but back to the topic...

there are 2 forms of welfare, deserved and undeserved.

the deserving ones are already rich, that is why they are people of calibre and, well quite frankly they deserve more money (no matter if they already have enough money).

..and the undeserving ones like sick, eldery and the disabled.

we had such  a policy once in germany, to stamp them out, the undeserving ones i mean, the worthless who can't make it. Robot Frustrated
