Roasting a chicken right now.
I quite like vegemite on toast if that's what around. The butter has to be completely smooshed in and totally melted.
maybe try that followed by a cinnamon slice for dessert

It's Mr Elephant's Birthday today, so we have friends coming for dinner. We're having crunchy chicken (chicken cooked in the slow cooker then the meat taken off the bone andput into a baking dish with some of the thickened stock, covered with a mixture of breadcrumbs, melted butter, herbs and chopped onions and baked for about 30 minutes). I'm serving it with roast vegies and string beans and following it with a rasperry topped pavlova for dessert..
