so why when a person is found guilty of murder do we not take their freedom away forever? a murderer has robed another of their life, robbed that persons family of a loved on for life and robbed society of a persons contribution for life.
particularly when there are no good reasons for the murder, it was committed just because.....well no reason really.

Why isnt it life when you murder someone?
Why isn't it a hanging offence?
Clear out some of the backlog in our prison and send out a clear message to murderers?

I certainly do not agree with it.
We - as civilised human beings - decided the ' death penalty ' - had its faults.
How many times has an innocent - tried by judge & jury - been put to death - for a crime they did not commit.
If one life is taken this way - not guilty - is one too many.
But in a case where there is no doubt of guilt - such as Anita's, others - hang the Bastaaards.
And we all have to understand the LAW - it is not a given - get a good one - it is not - about TRUTH.
The law is not about
