I didnt get the chance to answer your question.

No I havent. I think Id rather starve. I eat the flesh only not any form or offal yuck!! And I think haggis is poisonous

Not even steak & kidney pie, liver and bacon.. no, no, no. Was brought up on a farm but not made to eat offal thank goodness.

tripe is yummy in a white sauce

 

my grandmother used to make it and put dumplings in it that was yum too

 

 

 

i don't bother to cook it as no one else likes it

chuk.. my Dad bought a small carton of  canned lambs tongues.. very proud of his good deal.. eww.. He was the only one that ate them.. ate his way through them all eventually though.

 

I wouldn't try Haggis when visitng Scotland either.. even though people I was visiting said I had to!

My mum makes great tripe in tomato based sauce with polenta though. Love to see the white sauce recipe.  Tripe is the bomb when cooked right imo. Yuma Cha tripe mmm.
