I love tripe and onions but it is so long since I have cooked it I would have to hunt out a recipe to refresh my memory.

Love steak and kidney too but not too keen on liver or brains.

Crunbed and fryed lambs brains are very yummy.elephant.gif

I have eaten and cooked all of the things mentioned here. Feeding nine kids, six of them growing boys, and only one income 40 years ago, a mother had to make the housekeeping money stretch. None of my children got poisoned or complained about any food. They all grew up to be big and strong and healthy.

Nowadayays OH and I sometimes go for dinner at the Pub. They have a greatt Seniors menu, and often we just go to have their lambsfry and onions. Yumyumyum.

Roast Ox heart with sage and onion stuffing was another standby on Mum's menu - she was feeding 10 kids. It was very tasty.

I refused to eat tripe soup when I was a child but eventually gave it a go and its actually not bad at all.  I sometimes order it at a Polish restaurant (just stay focused on the taste lol)
