There are many instances of eBay vendors selling non-compliant, left hand drive headlights without consumers being aware. Left Hand Drive headlights are suited to US markets and are a safety risk on Australian roads due to the incorrectly focussed beam (shines into oncoming traffic).
There are two issues here: firstly, the parts are illegal to be sole in Australia and secondly, the parts are being sold to consumers without the consumer being informed that they are left hand drive.
What is eBay doing to ensure that parts are legal?

Most likely nothing 🙂 You may need to contact them and let them know. I very much doubt though, if it will have any affect on them being available.

Maaate I don't think the lights are illegal to be sold in Australia.... although it breaches ADR rules to fit them to a
registered vehicle.....there are many uses for vehicles other than to register them so that they can be used on the road
Honestly prospective buyers purchase items online because they are (generally) cheaper than what is available locally.
That numbskulls do not do their research but just look at the bottom $$$ line makes the case for caveat emptor even more
compelling.
Spare parts interpreters should be ordering and procuyring the numbskulls parts if they do not have the skill to order the
correct ones themselves....

naughty naughty.... not none of the items below can be used on registered vehicles because they breach ADR rules..... but
you can legally fit them to your drift car in australia all day every day
^^^^ breaches ADR full stop
