Checkout failed multiple times with error Check Payment details, and now my account has been locked

I tried to pay using Debit card, got the error "Please check payment details or choose another payment method."

All details are correct, the card is not expired and there are sufficient funds.

Tried to pay with Google Pay and again, got the same stupid error "Please check payment details or choose another payment method."

Reset my cart and tried to buy the same item again, checkout continues to fail.

Logged out and in, same problem.

Nothing on Ebay Help has any helpful information. Tried to google and found no solutions.

Now my account is locked. This is ridiculous!!!
