Hi Guys, I've just had a buyer message to ask would I consider a direct sale... As the item in question is a BIN only.. Isn't that classed as a direct sale?

I don't know the term "direct sale" but to me I suspect they are asking for some form of off-ebay sale.
And to do this is against policy.

It sounds to me like the want to negotiate a price off ebay. That's a no-no
Ask them what they mean, and then you'll know exactly

and check out the buyer's ID - make sure they are in Australia - if not - dodgy dodgy.
And if he is in Australia, why can't he buy in ebay - dodgy dodgy dodgy

I've not heard this term "direct sale".
Would you explain what you mean by that please?

I think Lizzy should have asked them what they meant by it.

Well I guess we can only guess they meant some form of transaction off ebay.
As said above this is both aganst ebay policy and can be risky too.
To me it has scam attempt written all over it.
