EBAY REMOVES AN AUTHENTIC LISTING

When will ebay get there act together? i had a Louis Vuitton bag (mine i bought in LV Stord some time back)listed a couple of weeks ago and they took it off saying it was a replica or fake.I decided to get it authenticated before relisting as suggested by ebay and paid for an authentification by My Poupette (recognised by ebay) and relist..to have them take it down again. When i rang them o got the usual you need to have date code(i did) you need to have pic of date Code (i did) and i also listed My Poupette had authenticated it via email (which i can send to buyer). It is obvoius ebay has not even looked into the listing again and just seen it relisted and took it off otherwise they would have sen the additions to my listing. Also have suspended my account from selling for 7 days..lovely considering this is my business and they are the ones who have made the mistake...i have appealed it but how long does that take?.THANKS EBAY WELL DONE

eBay usually only take down items on the advice of the original copyright holders.

LV are very active members of the VERO program so if you want to list their products you need to convince them that the item is genuine. If you continue to list it without first getting permission from T&S then you risk having your selling privileges suspended.

You would probably get a better price for it selling it at a specialised B&M auction house anyway.

EBAY REMOVES AN AUTHENTIC LISTING

I just had a listing removed and it is authentic Tiffany.  When I wrote them they told me they weren't questioning the earrings but the pouch.  They wouldn't tell me why they felt the pouch was not authentic.  They just sent back a general e-mail.  It is so irritating.  Yes, I can sell it somewhere else, however there is a mark against me as a top rated seller.  If I get more Tiffany jewelry in the future, I do not want to be questioned about my jewelry when I do not sell counterfeit.  I do not know how from a picture these Tiffany detectives can tell me my earrings are authentic, but my pouch isn't.

In America it's jewelry and that's where they're from.

EBAY REMOVES AN AUTHENTIC LISTING

hi I had a Tiffany & Co listing taken down too.  When I sent an email yo Tiffany the said it was the ouch that wasn't authentic.  I went back to seller.  They are reputable and offered me a refun but as the necklace was genuine I dint bother just re-advertised the item without the pouch and it sold.  Today I bought a sterling silver ring from an antique shop. The owner told me it is 1960s. When I got home I discovered it has Tiffany and silver stamped inside but it doesn't look like the type of ring Tiffany would sell.
