I have recently been made aware that ebay is slugging me 20% for pump parts that I sell on their platform, this is too expensive for me to continue on this platform. Is there a way that I can speak to a real person about getting the fees they charge lowered. I can see why facebook marketplace is so big now

Why are you needing to pay 20%? and only just made aware?
You agree to pay the fees you are required to pay before you list
No, eBay CS can't give you special treatment, you owe what you owe
If you believe Facebook Marketplace is the right place for you, off you go
Don't forget to end your current listings if you did'nt look at what fees you'll pay for those either

Be interesting to see how you work out the maths to get to 20%

That is what I thought but when I work it out it is between 19% and 20% I have heard that they charge higher fees on some items but that is ridiculous

I take the full price deduct 20% from the total

LOL. ok, I'll make my question clearer, show the calculation that Ebay used.
Sale price.
Fee charge
any other costs
total in your bank

Are you including the cost of your store in this. ??
Or just sales.

You can view a detailed breakdown of how all transaction fees are charged for each order in Seller Hub or My eBay. Here's how:
The Fee details section shows the final value fee, and any other transaction fees due at the time of sale. Any final value fee promotions or discounts will also be visible. If you would like to review all of your fees in a single report, read our article about reconciling your eBay sales transactions.
