Standard Disclaimer ??

Hmm, I've only returned a handful of listings with that in it, and they are all low-ish FB-ers selling same/similar fashion jewellery and the listing descriptions are virtual copy/pastes of one another - complete with the big font in a rainbow of colours....

So, my guess is that it's something they've whacked in their themselves (when an item is sold 'as is', there's no SNAD protection via PayPal, my guess is they're trying to avoid claims from people who receive jewellery broken, or it breaks within 5 mins. The faint colour says it all, really.

Quick tip - to read the text foxy posted more easily, highlight it so the background goes dark blue and the text is white, much easier to see. 🙂

I have never seen it either.

If it was in any listing of an item I have purchased I would never have noticed it.

Until i highlighted the light text in the OP post - the white space looked exactly like white space to me ?:|

I think it's as unenforceable as " Seller can't be held responsible for loss or damage in the postal system. "

It's gobbledegook, basically. The first paragraph effectively carries a line saying they don't guarantee their items are fit for the purpose that they're sold for... Just... :^O

I'd like to see how they go in court saying they're not liable for statutory warranties. :^O
