I am noticing right down the bottom in VERY VERY light grey, the following 'Standard Disclaimer' on quite a few sellers listings-never seen it before.Anyone else seeing this &/or know what its about?
And yes, this EXACTLY how light it is

Makes one wonder what hideous thing happened as a result of their items to make them feel the need to add such a disclaimer. Eeek!

Just report the listings.
Listing practices >
Inappropriate seller terms
or for the ones in fine jewellery,
Listing practices >
Search and browse manipulation or
Listing in an inappropriate category.
Even fraudulent listings > You suspect that a listing is fraudulent.
It's pretty hard to put ebay on alert to these sellers. Odd to say because you can't always say "these" as their feedback probably comes from their other IDs. They all have private sales too. Ebay are so slow to react to reports.

I'd like to see how they go in court saying they're not liable for statutory warranties. :^O
Putting signs like that in shops is actually illegal.

doesnt this pop up often enough?
Important information for sellers: consumer guarantees, returns and warranties
Sellers are required under Australian law to accept returns for goods purchased from a business and provide Australian consumers with a repair, replacement or refund if the goods:
Are faulty, or become faulty within a reasonable period of time after purchase
Are not fit for any purpose you stated or that the buyer made known to you (i.e. they don't do what you said they would do)
Don’t match your description or sample
Are of unacceptable quality, or
Fail to meet other mandatory consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.
