Why does ebay give preferential treatment to some dealers?

ebay Australia gives preferential treatment to some dealers by placing most of goods for sale on top of the page,regardless of :

The item is more expensive, it does not offer free postage,it tryies to confuse the customer by using 5-9 cents in the item price or postage.

If anybody can help,I would like to find if they had similar experiences& if so are you happy with the system?

Also,ii is about time that dealers were informed of the negative track record of some buyers,(as some dealers use that to stuff up others)

Morning, they give preferential treatment to those dealers because the dealers are paying for the preferential treatment - any seller in eBay can do the same - if they can afford it lol
