eBay CEO Devin Wenig is GONE

I wonder if he was pushed or left to 'make more time with his family'?

OK... so I thought I may take this opportunity to share my opinion.

Probably not the best after red wine but hey... you regular guys on here are the bomb.

(Personally can't believe I just typed that and are gonna post it buy anyways)

I am probably going to get in a **bleep** ton of trouble but OMFG I am soooo happy at the news!!!!

My screenshot attached to congrats to the departing king.

I am going to be in trouble yeah? But hey... good news people! Great news.

You regular forum posters are awesome! Love you lots xoxoxox

And yeah, I am the Esta person who will probably have their comment removed by tomorrow on his fb page.

Cause how can everyone be so nice in his comments? *sigh* and *arggghhhh*

And I did actually just read this again before posting but it is too funny not to do it.... Screenshot 2019-09-26 23.07.43.png

A lot (most) of eBayers were saying the same sort of things when Donoghue left.

Deja vu?

I'm not sure who would be a good CEO for eBay.

eBay has seen some greatly loathed CEOs come and go. The position in which eBay now finds itself is the cumulative result of all the various paths embarked on by those CEOs (and the board, of course).

It'd be interesting to see what measures some of the posters here would like to see changed, and some future directions for eBay that would make it attractive to buyers and sellers both. (I'm holding my own views back; I haven't had any wine at all although I do have a wonderful bottle of red waiting to be added to some coq au vin that I'll be preparing today, and I expect that there'll be a glassful left for me to roll around in my mouth, murmur "Intriguing depth with a fine rich bouquet" or some such thing, etc.)
