ebay postage labels dearer than buying red sachels

ebay postage labels dearer than buying red sachels

ebay sachel off ebay $2.50 for 10 (25c each) plus $9.15 each delivery is $9.40 or $94 for 10 deliveried using ebay.....verses a cost of $91.65 for 10 deliveries using red bags - dearer

now when i started using the ebay labels i was told ebay was going to be 5% cheaper than auspost.

so it they where 5% cheaper 10 deliveries would cost $87....$7 dearer

its only 70c a delivery but i think its wrong ebay went back on the discount

and now charges more than auspost....

eBay used to offer a 30c discount for parcels going to non-rural areas. I have no idea what they charge now. And the advertised 5% is for international. I get 20% to NZ and that is the only country I would contemplate selling to.

Neither eBay nor AP offer significant discounts for rural.

AP MyPost Business Band 1, offers $8.69 for major metro (plus satchel - I buy 100 at a time for 15c each), less for same city. Predicated on posting 8 parcels over 8 weeks. Discounts are significantly more if you do 40 per 8 weeks.

The downside is you pay full freight ($9.15) for the first 8.
