Can a buyer close a case ?

Satisfied with item being resent again with tracking.

 

30 days after sale the buyer has claimed fault without making contact they oened a fault claim.

I sent them a message offering to replace item.They accepted my resolution.

I sent some extras with replacement for any inconveinence caused.

 

They are and will be happy. Even now left a positive feedback but are new to Ebay as I am to selling

 

I cannot find anywhere a buyer can close a case or even if they can.( short of calling Ebay)

 

Hope someone can help with this !

I have been advised that the buyer is given an option to close the case.

 

I haven't closed one yet so can't tell you where to find it, but can tell you that several of our buyers can't find it either. 

 

You could message them and ask them nicely to close it, and then if they respond they can't figure out how, contact CS and ask them to close it as they'll be able to see the messages from/to your buyer
