Can you believe this
ive had a 3 day restriction put on my acc for selling an empty beer can.
the description says empty the title says empty but ebay thinks it may still contain alcohol
what a crock

If you're on Managed Payments then yes Alcohol is on the restricted list.
Ebay don't have any way of determining if it's empty or not so you can't sell it.

Is there a big market for empty cans ?
I understand collectors etc, but isn't the value in the fact they are original and unopened?
Just wondering, not trying to be a smart a**

yes there is a strong market for production faults - an empty can thats still sealed is gold.
think about it anybody can have that can in their collection by simply going to a bottleo and buying one for a couple of bucks but an empty sealed one - a production fault that wasnt picked up or thrown away is rare..

same here - what a crock of s#*T.
the women on the other end at the "help line" was no help said i should take pics to show its empty
its a production fault - the only way to take a pic of a sealed empty can is to open it

was told by help desk - no way to opt out of managed funds

Someone posted the list on another thread but I'm not sure which thread it was but if you type in managed payments restricted items policy in the help section it shows up
