How do I enable my photos to be enlarged in the listing by buyers?

I always upload square images, and have found that 700 x 700 pixels means the listing gets the "click to view larger size" option, while 800 x 800 (or larger) always gets the "mouse over" option, where a small section is enlarged in a window to the right.

It's automatic and is determined by the initial size of the pic. If not big enough it will not be available.

I always thought it was pot-luck and at ebay's whim

Mouse over....click to enlarge...they like to tease

Mine mostly fit eBay's size recommendation of 1600px on a side and they seem to be available.

Nevertheless, that is the only thing in the lister's control.

If a phone user is using the app to look at a listing all they have to do is touch the photo and pinch and zoom.
If its in full site they should be pinching and zooming as phones try and cram everything in to fit and unless you have super vision you cant make anything out.
If thats not what you meant disregard my comment
