The Forums make me feel like I have Vertigo

Can anyone help? There has to be a simple solution;

my issue: I am unable to post anything on a long thread (CS & Fun & Games) because I keep getting taken back to when the thread was started ie 2010/11. It doesn't matter how I sort ( newest to oldest or vice versa).

I also have no page numbers under 'reply to post'......all lengthy threads are gobbledegook.

What am I doing wrong?

I am on Windows 10, using Chrome

I can't help with the page number problem, but you know the OP is repeated at the top of every page, right?

I just went to the first word game.

Scrolled to the bottom.

Clicked on the last page ...3279... and I was in no problem.

Try using Firefox instead of Chrome, just see how you go.

I have had the page numbers visible since this all started.....

Try going in via your Profile (Avi at the TRHS of page) and click on 'Replies' this will take you to the last reply you made on the chosen thread - this will bypass the Page problem

Yeah, I now have page numbers!!

OK...a friend has worked it out for me....it has nothing to do with browser issues and everything to do with my SETTINGS. I did not have it set to LINEAR layout....I also had DISPLAY set oldest to newest. This was all it was....maybe this is Dave's problem as well?? 😂
