Why not?
It doesn't for me, and there are no recent complaints, so I suspect it is you.
Maybe try clearing cache and cookies, rebooting your computer, trying a different browser, posting on a relevant board. This is neither recent, eBay, nor News.

I have exactly the same problem. I just tried to buy some car parts and it froze twice, third time it froze and asked me to sign in which I all ready was. Very frustrating as I had just completed a purchase a couple of minutes previous. Cheers

I am getting so frustrated with the slow speed of ebay (doesn't happen with other websites) that I'm becoming very reluctant to use it!

Have you read the numerous threads on the boards offering advice on how to speed the site up?
The most common "quick fix" is to add an adblocker to your browser....most members report that it has made a tremendous difference to the speed of loading.
Have you already cleared cookies and cache and rebooted your computer? And avoid using IE as it is not compatible with ebay now.
