I am a private seller. On the ebay page, I am asked to update my details. They also need my drivers licence and banking details. I am very reluctant too disclose this. I have tried posting new items to my ebay page and ebay wont allow it until I update my details. Should I be concerned?

It sounds like this is in relation to Managed Payments? is that correct?

Managed Payments will apply to almost all eBay sellers (expect, I believe certain business trust types) 

But it includes small sellers and private sellers

Have you had any emails from eBay out it?

If it's in relation to Managed Payments, then you have to supply your details to ebay, for their banking partner Adyen., who will be handling seller's funds.

You gave the same details to Paypal without a fuss?
