When ordering stuff from eBay, one is shown a message suggesting that one may claim 1 pending gift. After a few more steps, such as participating in a lottery type, one is told that one has won some brand names pot called Le Creuset. This leads to paying for postage of $3. This leads to the website accessing your bank account without authorisation.

STOP clicking onto such lures.
There’s no such thing as a free lunch — in Le Creuset cookware or not.
Warnings about identity theft online scams are everywhere.
It’s not just your money you’ve exposed to the scammers; it’s your identity.
Survey, free gift, winner, SCAM.
