eBay removed my coupon before expiry

I made a purchase last week with the intend of using the 'PLUS4P' 4% discount coupon which was expiring on 31/03/21. eBay removed the coupon on 30/03/21 whilst I was waiting to pay. When I typed the code in, it said it wasn't available anymore, now when I try it states that the coupon is expired. Every time I try to chat with someone online for support they simply remind me that I do not have the coupon without any ability to look into it. I cannot find an email address or phone number to contact. What should I do in this scenario? I am potentially at a loss of $500 AUD.

All the discount coupons I've seen have "expires on such and such a date, unless withdrawn earlier" (or words to that effect), in the T&C's.

It's always best therefor to use them as soon as you can.

OP is certainly very, very fortunate to be in a position where they can drop that amount of money on an online purchase for one item and not read the t&c before doing so

Maybe it was a vehicle from someone being transferred to Darwin army base and will get eBay motors to hold the money until they receive the vehicle. 😏
