Australia Post shop mate

Has anyone used AP's ShopMate forwarding service for ebay purchases or to purchase from other overseas websites?

Harley, it is very expensive.

It was discussed on the boards and I believe the general consensus was that there were other services that were reliable and a lot less expensive.  There were also a few nasty little catches in the T & C.

I compared it to some others and they were a bit more expensive but not by much. You don't know of any good ones do you?

Sorry no, I don't.

I am in the happy position of having family in the USA and Canada and my OH's nephew is a senior pilot with UPS....we have no difficulty arranging delivery of anything from the US or Canada.

Yeah, lucky you. I just had a parcel come from Europe with UPS. €40 most expensive parcel I've ever had from Europe and it weighed less than 500 grammes

Re: Australia Post shop mate

That does not surprise me at all.

As long back as I can remember UPS has always had the reputation of being expensive....best part of 20 years now since I worked for a courier company that delivered lost parcels for them at out of hours rates.

And I know what they pay their pilots.Smiley Surprised
