Australian Only

I always buy Australian made or from sellers within Australia.  Yet I just brought an item that said the item was in Sydney Australia and post would take 3 days.

All good so I pay up only to be told post would take 10 days and the item was coming from China!

This is false advertising is it not? I have asked the seller is the item in Australia or China but they will not answer the question. How can I pull out of the sale?

Yes it is false advertising.

Has the seller marked the item as shipped yet? If not, you could try another message telling them that "as the delivery time-frame is outside what was advertised on the listing, I had no need for this item. Please cancel this order".

There's not really any way you can force the cancellation of the order once you've paid, however, so you're really only left with...er...retaliatory measures.

Pummelling sellers with rotten fruit is no longer considered suitable customer behaviour.

I wouldn't waste rotten fruit on sellers - it goes straight onto the compost pile!
