Hi,
Can anyone tell me where I find the sellers contact details?
I have had a bit of a look through My eBay and around the item I have purchased, but just can't find her name or address.
Thanks.

Go to the site map click on find contact information and go from there

Thanking you both. I thought it would come up on the My eBay page - didn't think I'd have to go back to one of the main pages to search. It's a pity it doesn't come up automatically once you've purchased from them - would make it less fiddly to find. I'm sure it used to be available under 'Contact seller' or something similar.
Thanks again.

I don't think ebay give out the seller's address only phone number

They only give out the phone number unless the member chooses to hive their address available or they offer moneyorder or cheque which would necessitate needing the address.
Other than for paying by either of those two unsafe payment methods there should never be any need to know a seller's address. If an item is faulty or not as described you should be going through Paypal and getting the correct return address by way of the dispute.

As a seller I do not want my address available to anyone - good heavens, I live on my own in the middle of nowhere - has anyone given that any thought? because I am sure I am not only seller in that position.

This function has been depricated

.................and your post has resurrected an obsolete thread that's 4 1/2 YEARS OLD where the original information is quite likely to be incorrect now............................

But, we have a new word for the language. I just wish I knew what it meant.
