I can see why some buyers get upset.

Here's a copy and paste of an email i just sent about combined postage -

Hello,

What would be the total price on 30 pieces of this grease?

Many thanks

Now the price of this ANDERSON PLUG DIELECTRIC GREASE SILICONE LUBRICANT COMPOUND is  $3.95 +

postage of $5.95 for 5grams.

Now here is the reply - Price is as listed sorry.

Regards xxxxxx.

Now keep in mind i asked the question about combined postage.

i'm not real bright but it seems to me to work out to $178.50 for shipping 30 x 5 grams = 150 grams.

Silly me i was thinking maybe a $7.15   500 gram satchel would do the trick..

Needless to say he doesn't need the sale.

I can see why some buyers get upset.

It was being delivered by private jet and handed over on a silver platter though, not an unreasonable price for such a classy service Smiley Very Happy

Actually, you didn't mention combined postage, you just asked for the total price for 30 pieces.  The seller may have thought you were asking for a bulk discount on the actual product.  You could try asking specifically for a combined postage price, assuming the seller advertises combined postage (it is not actually required).

Cheers,

That's exactly what I thought too.

Trying to get 30 cheaper.

Ask again about combined postage.

Although I noticed they don't offer it.

I would have thought exactly the same as some of the others here, that you were asking for a discount on the actual unit price.

If you want to know about combined postage, you will need to mention combined postage in your question.

As in- I am interested in buying 30 units of this grease lubricant. Are you able to combine postage and if so, what would total postage cost be to (postcode wherever).

Maybe you need to read what's written before you comment.

How you go?

Is that clear enough for you? Smiley Sad

Typical Ebayer, you don't bother to read what's in front of you.

People like you cause poeple like me to get strikes because you don't or can't read correctly?

Actually, I did read what you wrote, did you, before you pressed send?  You said you were copying an email you sent about combined postage, but what you pasted made no mention of postage.  If what you copied was not the full email, perhaps you should have said "part of an email" so those of us who can't read minds would know there may have been more.

Despite your less than gracious attitude, you're welcome.

Cheers,

Don't get all up in Penny's face.

More than one of us interpreted it the same way.

So who's the odd one out here?

You didn't mention combined postage at any time in that email

I can see why some sellers get upset - got buyers asking dumb questions
