I returned the item and uploaded tracking number, then 10 days passed still no refund nor any communication from seller.
Since the seller wasn't very keen to help from the beginging, I contacted ebay, on the next day I received a reply says I need to provide proof of postage?
Why? I sent it to the address shown in return request, tracking record shows parcel delivered to that area and I don't have any other proof since it's a prepaid post satchel.
Maybe I should have taken a picture before posting? Hmmm... well I didn't think of that.
I returned another item last year, all I needed to provided was the tracking #, so what I returned 2 items so I am suspicious now?

I would probably resubmit the tracking number into the dispute, and also take a screenshot of the tracking, and add that to the dispute as well. You should be able to screenshot it from the Aust Post website.
Once you've done that, see if there is an option in the dispute to escalate to a claim (ask eBay to step in and help).

It's a shame about their poor feedback score also
