What exactly is this "game* Chinese sellers are playing?

Selling items that they don't have in stock, then refunding, or asking you to repurchase because somehow the original order was mysteriously mixed up? This has happened to me 3 times now recently and I am starting to suspect it is a known? scam of some sort. However, if they refund then not sure what they actually stand to gain from the exercise. All I know is that I'm wasting my time! Can't even leave negative feedback for these Sellers because it's a non-sale.

No. There is no option to leave feedback once they have cancelled the sale and refunded and the money.

I repeat -

If you have paid and they have refunded, then you can still leave feedback.

A cancelled sale will be able to be viewed if you scroll down to the bottom of your purchase page.

It is there that you can leave feedback for the cancelled purchases

Of course, if it's over 60 days, then you can't leave feedback.
