Any help on identifying this old bear please. bear 12" long, arms and legs 5" long, torso 4 1/2" long, head about 4" diameter, has working growler. hard stuffed with wood shavings.

The older Steiff bears have a metal stud in one ear so I would think this isn't one.

As mb says, the metal tag in the left ear is what to look for - even if the tag is missing, there will be a hole where it once was.
