On other threads,some ladies have mentioned, their OHs
would post, but had no interest in most of the threads on offer.

Just went into town to spend big on waterproofing for the ceeement deck upstairs.

LOL - walked into the office of the supply place - huge hole in the ceiling - had to say - I don't want what you used.

Apparently the Saturday deluge caused next doors gutters to overflow - and did in their ceiling.

Now waiting for a fine couple of days to apply said waterproofing.

Good early evening everyone.

Things seem to be quiet on here.

I have busy, went to see 2 of my boys for a few days (they live in the same town). One of them had a accident in his 4wd, he rolled it on it's side doing something silly. He was fine & was not injured. He had it towed back to his place and I had to do a temp repair on one of the front guards so he can drive it until he gets to a panel shop. Kids

I have not been home much, I packed up some things from home including one of the beds and set it up at the other sons place (not far from me) that I am renovating, its saves me traveling back and forth and the quieter jobs I sometimes do at night.
Had some work done of some skin cancers a couple of days back and plan get back into the renos again on the weekend.

I notice "Paper hasn't been online, and hope all is well.

As it is ANZAC day, I thought some of you might be interested in reading part of what one of the ANZAC soldiers wrote in a letter. This was written after the final August offensive and all the fighting went for nothing as by 10 Aug the entire ridge was back under Ottoman control.

PS This soldier survived the war.

I was absolutely furious yestereday - public holidays - states on their website - no construction work on public holidays - so they began shifting metal at 7am.

Totally over them - but they are now coming to the party over the tree - compensation - removal - visual amenity - environmental - and - reinstate.

Not that they will come up with anything to replace it - as it would no longer get sun.

Have a few ideas for the area - no problem.

Thank you for letting us know of Linda - Nics - another sad day for the B&S - another loss.

I think she gave up posting due to eyesight issues - among other things.

I really - really - hope there are no cats in her place of rest.
