I'd never heard of it til I it mentioned on Facebook last night:
At first I thought "banoffee" was some sort of scottish/irish word, you know, like bansee, til I realised it was a combination of banana and toffee.

Not so much the calories for me (altho they're always a concern), but the work involved for a 2 person household and I have to take the leftovers in to the seagulls at work to eat them up...

buy a flan case from Coles, a tin of pre cooked caramel, a bananna and some KI cream
5 minutes tops
and there won't be any left for the seagulls
